The state Department of Transportation announces the following roadwork for Monday, April 30, through Friday, May 4:
— Alternating single-lane closures on Akoni Pule Highway in both directions in the vicinity of Mahukona between mile markers 5 and 15, 8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. daily for pavement resurfacing.
— Alternating single-lane closures on Kohala Mountain Road in both directions between mile markers 2 and 7, in the vicinity of Waiaka Junction near Waimea, 8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. daily, for pavement resurfacing.
— Alternating single-lane closures on Volcano Highway in both directions between Kukui Camp Road and North Lauko Road near Mountain View, 8 a.m.-3 p.m. daily, for road utility installations.
Lane closure schedules may change at any time without further notice. All roadwork is weather permitting.
